LAUNCHING WEDNESDAY, SEPTEMBER 17, 6:00PM
Stop by, bring a friend, and we’ll fix you a plate!
You've been to dinner.
You’ve been to church.
You’ve even been to a church dinner.
But you’ve never been to Med City Dinner Church.
There’s something new cooking on Wednesdays at Gloria Dei this fall.
Introducing Med City Dinner Church, our newest worship and community experience. The night will start at 6pm with one of Gloria Dei’s own “celebrity chefs” who will do all the cooking (so that you don’t have to). We’ll gather in the Looking Within Center for a meal and conversation which will transition into an interactive worship experience with live music, conversation, a message, and communion.
But Don’t Forget About Dessert
Once dinner and worship finish up at 7pm remember to stay for dessert! Confirmation students will go to their small groups, high school students will head to the youth room, our elementary school students will participate in a contemplative experience we are calling Med City Vibes, and the choir will start practice in the sanctuary. All of them will grab some dessert as they head to the next thing.
Everyone else is invited to chill and soak up some coffee house vibes in the Looking Within Center. We’ll have a chance to decompress in a low agenda space complete with candles, dessert, good conversation, games, puzzles, and occasionally some live music.
So mark your calendars: Med City Dinner Church officially launches on Wednesday, September 17 at 6pm. Stop by, bring a friend, and we’ll fix you a plate!
