Children + Youth

We long to be the kind of community that makes faith “sticky” and long lasting for our children and youth. We value families worshiping together to experience compassion and grace. In all our programming for children and youth, we strive to create community through relationships with caring adults and their peers.

Sunday school - 3 year old through 5th grade

On Sunday mornings, our Sunday School program invites children through 5th grade to experience the Bible through play, relationships with peers and caring adults, and hands-on activities. Activities change throughout the year in which children and their parents can select the type of learning style that best suits them. Sunday morning messages are designed to resonate with people of all ages. Children are invited to set the table for communion or serve communion on their own or with adult assistance. If desired, nursery care is also available during most of our worship services for ages birth to 3 years.

At Gloria Dei, people of all ages are invited to the table to receive the bread and the wine of Holy Communion. When Jesus said, “Do this in remembrance of me”, he did not include any fine print on who should be included or what age they should be.

Being baptized into the community of faith is a special sacrament at Gloria Dei. Fill out the form below if you or your child would like to be baptized.
