Abundant Living Yoga
Yoga is a mind-body practice that promotes physical health, emotional well-being, and spiritual growth through a combination of asanas (body postures), breath practices, mindfulness, and self-study. In this sense it is more than exercise, although the practice is known for increasing strength, flexibility, and balance. Yoga is also not a religion, although the practice often leads people toward a life of peace, forgiveness, simplicity, and compassionate service. For spiritual seekers, yoga can be experienced as sacred movement and contemplative prayer that deepens our understanding of ourselves, our relationships with others, and our connection with God.
Supporting body-mind-spirit well-being, the sessions will be led by Dawn Jacobson, an integrative medicine physician who is an accredited yoga instructor and longtime practitioner of the practice. Beginners are welcome as Dr. Jacobson offers instruction for all poses and breath practices.
