Our Celestial Bodies
Traditional Chinese Medicine understands the human body not as an isolated system, but as a living reflection of the larger patterns of Heaven and Earth. The meridians and acupuncture points form an intricate network of pathways through the body, and many of their ancient names evoke images drawn from the natural and heavenly realms.
In this contemplative exploration, we will enter the poetic landscape hidden within the names of the acupuncture points and discover how these names reveal an ancient understanding of the human person as a microcosm of the universe: An embodied meeting place of Heaven and Earth.
Participants are invited to learn about and reflect on selected acupuncture points and their evocative names, considering what these images might illuminate about the body, wholeness, healing, and our own spiritual journey.
Come discover acupuncture's highways to heaven and sacred landmarks written into the body and begin to see the human body not merely as something we inhabit, but as a divine expression of the greater mystery of creation.
