St. Paul reminds us that the world around us reveals God’s invisible qualities—his eternal power and divine nature. St. Bonaventure aptly described creation as the Book of Nature, a living expression of God’s love meant to be read by humanity in order to find God. In this Reset, we will observe, reflect, and share as we explore how Traditional Chinese Medicine understands the human person as the meeting place of Heaven and Earth, using the language of nature to articulate the relationships that guide body and Spirit. By noticing these patterns within ourselves and the world, we learn how creation teaches us to live in balance and how both the body and creation become living places of encounter with God’s presence, love, and healing within his magnificent design.

Melissa Schultz, licensed acupuncturist and nationally board-certified herbalist, holds a Master’s degree in Traditional Chinese Medicine. With a heart devoted to Christ and a mind open to global medical traditions, she considers it a blessing and calling to serve as an instrument of healing through acupuncture, herbal medicine and prayer. Her expertise lies in herbal medicine and dietary therapy, guided by science, ancient wisdom, and the Holy Spirit. An avid gardener, Melissa sees plants as a visible and wonder-filled expression of God’s care and provision.
