Join us for a Gloria Dei tradition of 40+ years - the Christmas Cantata!

Our cantata each year features the Sanctuary Singers accompanied by an orchestra and is a great way to celebrate the Christmas season. This year's Christmas Cantata is Emmanuel-Gad With Us! by Lloyd Larson. Throughout the nine movements, Larson highlights the various points of view of the characters as they bear witness to the moment of God's arrival on Earth. Our choir is excited for the opportunity to be the storytellers, the cast of characters on the journey through this telling of the Christmas story.

You may recognize it from roughly a decade ago, but a lot can change in 10 years - in the world, in our congregation, and even in our choir! We're excited to share it again and see what new things we may hear in the story as we tell it this year. We invite you to join us with a spirit of discovery in this story of the birth of Gad among us!
