Gloria Dei Endowment Fund
BLESSED TO BE A BLESSING
You’ve worked hard throughout your life. You’ve built a home, a family, a career, a nest egg for retirement, and some security for the future. You’ve served your community, and shared generously with those around you. You’ve known God’s blessings in real and tangible ways. Of course, those blessings are not simply counted through your “stuff” or your money. These blessings reflect who you are and what is most important to you.
When that time comes, what will happen next?
Being prepared is an important step if you want your life’s work to continue growing in meaning, purpose, and significance when the time comes to let it go. Having a good, strong plan in place is essential. Planning today will not only be a way of passing along your wealth and possessions, but your legacy, and the story of who you were and what was most important to you. How might you be called to share? How are you blessed to be a blessing?

The Gloria Dei Endowment Fund will enhance and extend the work of our congregation and its mission for years to come. Contributions to this fund will be held in trust to earn income, and they will be distributed in support of future Gloria Dei ministry initiatives. Your generosity to the Gloria Dei Endowment is a way of saying “thank you” for the work God has done through our congregation in the past, even as it blesses our future work in Rochester and far beyond.

We decided a long time ago that our location in Northwest Rochester would be the “hub” of operations and outreach for our ministry— locally, regionally, and globally. Income from the Gloria Dei Endowment will be used to care for the ongoing needs of our building and grounds, to maintain and improve this “hub” long into our future. This will in turn free up financial resources in our general budget for more outreach, programming, and care for our neighbors here in Rochester and around the world.
