Who are we?

Gloria Dei Youth Group (GDYG) is a place to explore questions, make friends, experience new things, work together to serve, and find a safe space. We gather every Wednesday night during the school year from 7:15-8:15 to share stories, worship, play games, work on projects, and build our community.

Had a great time at a bonus Wednesday last night nothing with some middle schoolers! Two weeks until our volleyball tournament!
Say it isn't so! We can't possibly be to the end of our GDYG year already! So many wonderful memories with so many wonderful youths 💕 Keep an eye out for info about our bonus Wednesdays in April and May and our Spring Service Retreat!

SUMMER TRIPS 2024

Middle School Service Trip

Our middle schoolers will be traveling to Milwaukee, WI for a week of service through Youth Works again this summer. They will have the chance to explore the area, serve the people and community of Milwaukee, and deepen their faith through the summer theme - To Be Announced. They will also get to spend the week with other youth from churches around the Midwest serving and playing together.

High School Leadership Retreat

This year for their annual leadership retreat our high schoolers will participate in the 2024 ELCA Youth Gathering taking place in New Orleans, LA. They will have the chance to explore the city, worship with thousands of other youth from across the nation, serve the city and people of New Orleans, and participate in many unique learning opportunities as a community.
