Good Friday Reflection

Good Friday Reflection - By Julie Stevens

Jesus' final phrases in his life were:

"Father, forgive them, for they know not what they do."
"Today you will be with me in paradise."
"Dear women, here is your son. Here is your mother."
"My God, my God, why have you forsaken me?"
"I am thirsty."
"It is finished."
"Father, into your hands I commit my spirit."

Take some time to listen to this meditation and reflect on what these words mean to you. May this time of reflection be a meaningful part of your Good Friday, and provide a chance to pair Christ's last words with reflection on related aspects of your own journey with God.

As you complete this meditation, may you continue to ponder these words of Christ today and in your own personal time of reflection. Blessings on your journey.
