A Lenten Journey through the Story within The Story
11am services will be led in a traditional format by Pastor Dave and 6pm services will be led in a Water's Edge format by Pastor Dave.
What does Jesus mean to you? Really. What does he mean? How has he had an impact in your life? This is something we call, Jesus Matters!
This past year on Wednesday nights we have been working our way through The Story, an introductory to the Bible from beginning to end. We have been traveling through the Old Testament and have now arrived at Jesus' story.
This Lenten season we will focus on the story of Jesus from beginning to end. The thing about the story of Jesus is that it does not end on the cross. It does not end with the empty tomb. The story of Jesus doesn't end...it continues in our lives.
Again, what does Jesus mean to you? Each week we will learn how Jesus has touched and impacted the lives of individuals members of Gloria Dei as they share their stories of faith. As we hear their faith stories and spiritual journeys, we will discover that the story of Jesus is still being written on the hearts and in the lives of people right here in our community.

The Story
Water’s Edge

God goes to great lengths to rescue lost and hurting people. That is what The Story is all about -- the story of the Bible, God's great love affair with humanity. Condensed into 31 accessible chapters, The Story will sweep us into the unfolding progression of Bible characters and events from Genesis to Revelation, allowing the stories, poems, and teachings of the Bible to read like a novel. Each week we’ll hear about a specific story in worship, in ways unique to Water’’s Edge.

Who is Gloria Dei? We are one community -- almost 3200 members strong -- made up of six generations, each with its own unique needs and preferred ways of doing ministry. Take a look at what each Generational Ministry Team has been working on!
