·11:00 a.m. – Pastor Ronningen explores a series called “God Is Closer Than You Think”. Lunch will follow each service in Fellowship Hall.
· 6:00 p.m. Lent at Water’s Edge – Pastor Charles and our “Artist in Residence”- Local photographer and Gloria Dei staff member, Kristin Knudson.
World Day of Prayer
World Day of Prayer, an ecumenical gathering of women, will be held on Friday, March 5th at Mount Olive Lutheran Church (2830 18th Ave. NW). A continental breakfast will be served at 9:30 a.m. The program was written by women of Cameroon and is titled “Let everything that has breath praise God”. Come and bring your friends.
March is Minnesota FoodShare Month
Gloria Dei is a huge supporter of our local food bank, Channel One. During the month of March, barrels will be placed in the narthex and near the west entrance for your food donations. Minnesota Food Share offering envelopes will be provided for cash donations. All food and cash donations will go to Channel One Food Shelf to help re-stock their Food Shelf.
Also, The Sustenance board is offering for sale a cookbook, "The Aries to Ziemer Family Cookbook" written by Gloria Dei member, Deb Aries. The book was written in gratitude for the help her family received a number of years ago from a food bank. All proceeds will be given to Channel One. The cookbook may be purchased for a donation of $15 from Carol Fisher in the church office or directly from Deb Aries.

Join us on March 9th at 2:00 p.m. in the Fireside Room when we will discuss the book “Plain Truth” written by Jodi Picoult. In this book, Jodi explores the complex choices of the heart for a young Amish woman and the compelling journey of discovery for an urban lawyer who befriends and protects her.
