Talking Points
Water's Edge on Wednesday evenings are for the whole family. Below parents will find "Talking Points" ... or starters for conversations with your children on what they talked about in their activities. Each week we'll list the theme, coordinating Bible verse and a question that you can use to start a conversation with your child. This is a great way to continue on the lessons discussed here at Gloria Dei and apply them to your own home setting!

Talking Points listed are for the Water's Edge programing from March 10.

The Edge
6:40 p.m.
10th-12th Graders

Theme:  This week at the Edge we continue with using the art of photography to explore different aspects of our relationship with God. We have all been told to “say cheese” right before our picture is taken. Usually those pictures end up looking fake and not really expressing one’s true personality.

  • How do we make sure we don’t do the same in our spiritual life?
  • How do we have a genuine relationship with God and not one that just looks good on the outside?
  • Share with your youth how you keep from letting your spiritual life from becoming just actions you do on the outside.
Email Josh Poencet at youth@gloria-dei.com with any questions or concerns you may have about The Edge.
