Women's Ministry
We currently have seven Circles that meet for Bible study and fellowship on the third Tuesday or Wednesday of the month from September to June. Meeting times vary to accommodate the needs of the women. Whether you are looking for a morning, afternoon, or evening Circle, or one that provides babysitting, we have a Circle for you. If you are interested, call the church office.

Apron and Lap Robe Makers
Bib Makers meet the second and fourth Wednesday of the month at 1:00 p.m. in Fellowship Hall. They make bibs and lap robes for the nursing homes. If you would like to join, just show up ready to cut and sew! Everyone, including men, are welcome to join.

Gloria Dei Quilters
Quilters meet the second and fourth Thursday of the month at 9:00 a.m. in Fellowship Hall. They make quilts for Lutheran World Relief, Rochester Women’s Shelter and other needy organizations in our area. Baby quilts are also made.

Gloria Dei Quilters II
Just last year a second quilters group formed and meet on Wednesday nights at 6:00 during the school year. This learning group is currently working on community projects and quilt wall hangings for around the church. If you’re interested in quilting and would like to learn “hands on” this is your group!

Mom’s and Kids Discussion and Play Group
Are you a mom with a child not yet in school looking for some time with other moms and kids? On the second and fourth Thursdays of the month at 9:30 a.m. this group meets together in the Nursery with their children for play time and discussion. Also, moms take time to get out without the children for dinner on the first Sunday of each month.

Forever Forty
Forever Forty was organized in 1986 to serve a need in our congregation for those nearing or at retirement age. The main objectives are to become better acquainted with other members of the congregation, to continue learning about our church and community, and to serve others where needed.

Monthly meetings are held on the third Thursday of each month from September through May. They usually meet at noon in Fellowship Hall for lunch (pot luck or catered), a short, interesting program, and time for visiting and fellowship. There are no dues.

Men’s Group
Gloria Dei helps equip men with faith resources for real, everyday life. This is done through breakfasts, small groups, special events and bible studies.
