Our Mission

To be a ministry that seeks to invite students into a deep, real, and personal relationship with Jesus Christ through studying the Bible, fun events, small groups, worship, and service in our community.

We have great things happening every week here at Gloria Dei! All of our events and activities are open to all friends and family members. We are looking forward to having a blast with you very soon!

Splash ~ (Confirmation)
It's the most wonderful time of the year! This month we'll honor Jesus' birth by learning, celebrating and serving others. First we'll reflect on what we learned about the Lord's Prayer and Apostels Creed. We've discovered how great it it to be connected with Christ in the this way!

Sledding Day in Byron
February 20
Join us for a day of fun in the snow in Byron. Carpools can be arranged. All schools have the day off, so we'll play in the snow and enjoy the beauty of God's winter creations!

Devo and Donuts
Sunday's at 10:02 a.m.
Room 3
All 6th—12th grade youth are encouraged to come and eat doughnuts and recharge for the week ahead. Shane Baker will lead a 30 minute youth devotion. 

Drop Inn
Wednesdays from 3:00 -5:00 p.m. in the LoFT.
Drop Inn this year is back in the LoFT! It is a time for all middle and senior high youth to come play games, hang out, work on homework, listen to music, play some games, or watch a move/cartoon. Snacks and beverages are also available to tide you over until dinner. Then, as a group, we head down for dinner at 5:00.

Soul Food
Soul Food is a monthly fellowship and worship gathering for all Middle School and High School youth.  These Sunday evenings are full of games, meaningful fellowship, great food and invigorating worship with a message from Pastor Dave..  

Soul Food has been a mainstay of our youth ministry for almost a decade now.  This year we are striving to make this time together even more meaningful to the lives of our youth.  All youth are invited to join us as we take a look at this journey we call life, and more importantly our journeys of faith. 

Soul Food is the second Sunday of the month (except April when it is held on the third Sunday) from 6-8:15 p.m.

Soul Food Themes ~ Big Questions of Life

• March 11 ~ Whatcha want ?
• April 15 ~ Special Guest (TBA)

Middle School Mission Trip
The 2012 Middle School mission trip is headed off to Rapid City, SD!  Tentative dates have been set for July 14-20.  Informational meetings for youth and parents will be held throughout the year. Final payment will be due May 13, 2012.
