A New Church for All People!
Gloria Dei and Glory to God are one church with two campuses, sharing the same purposes and values, through a variety of ministries and programs. Glory to God campus is an outreach ministry of Gloria Dei, the Evangelical Lutheran Church of America and our local SE Minnesota Synod.

Glory to God currently worships at the Rochester Athletic Club at 10:00 a.m.on Sunday mornings. The worship features an informal community setting where worshipers sit at round tables for worship and discussion. A worship team (band and singers) provides the musical leadership through contemporary Christian music.

What happens at Glory to God?

• Sunday morning worship began at the Rochester Athletic Club in January 2006. All ages are invited to 10:00 a.m. worship. Refreshments are served immediately following the service.
• Worship is contemporary with a strong emphasis on Word, sacraments and faith in everyday life.
• All of Gloria Dei’s ministries, programs and services are available to you ~ Youth, Education, Men & Women’s Ministries, Prayer, Small Groups and so much more.

Mission Statement

• Making Christ known so that seekers, that is, those who are disconnected from Christ and his church, may know Jesus and become his fully devoted disciples.

Values

• Prayer We fully expect the mission of Glory to God to be beyond our abilities. Therefore, we pray daily for God’s strength, presence, and guidance.
• Growth We value an evangelistic ministry to seekers that leads pre-Christians and inactive Christians into a closer relationship to Jesus Christ.
• Welcoming We seek to offer people a safe place in which they might explore their doubts and questions about God and organized religion, deal with their past, or pursue unfulfilled hopes and aspirations.
• Connectedness We value a relational ministry that allows people to tell their stories, find a connection to one another, and ultimately, connect to Christ and his story of grace and redemption.
• Emerging Church We value being a church in progress: regularly discerning God’s will for ministry, experimenting with ministry styles, and learning from our mistakes.
