Confirmation
At Gloria Dei Confirmation is a pastoral and educational ministry of the Church which helps the baptized child through Word and Sacrament to identify more deeply with the Christian community and to participate more fully in its mission.

For students, Confirmation is about preparing to take responsibility for one’s own faith. It's about fulfilling the promises parents that made at their child’s baptism. During our Confirmation sessions, we learn about the Bible, the creeds, and most importantly, about the love and grace of God. Students respond to this grace with service to others.

When: Wednesday evenings from 6:40-8:00p.m.
Where: 6, 7 & 8 Graders - Fellowship Hall

Jump in and get your feet wet at Splash! This high impact ministry uses multi-sensory learning through lively faith teachings, a Splash Youth Band, quiz shows, service projects, and small group fun.

You were splashed with the waters of Baptism. Now in Splash, you will learn more about the faith you will affirm the fall of your freshmen year! Jump in and bring a friend!

If you have not yet registered for Splash, I invite you to get your feet wet and join us for this incredible experiential night of learning and fun! Splash includes Wednesday nights, 12 worship hours and 12 service hours each school year for grades 6-8. Confirmation Sunday is October 10, 2010 for 9th graders. The service is at 2:00 p.m.

Worship is encouraged from 6:00-6:30 p.m.
